The objective was to design a well-built, enduring residence that would be shared by many generations of a family. The special requirements for this coastal Cape Cod home included a main floor with all of the family and living spaces opened toward the ocean. Smaller study spaces, home offices, and a library were arranged along the eastern front of the house. All of the bedrooms are contained within two wings on the upper floor and the master suite occupies the home’s upper level southern wing.
