A historically protected spiral stair and an existing first floor duplex were required to remain in place. The challenge was providing an elegant entry sequence to the floor-through luxury condominiums above. The goal was to maintain the grandeur of the formal living spaces while accommodating modern day spaces with an open kitchen, breakfast area, and family room overlooking a private courtyard. Units ranged in size from a 2,500 square foot two-bedroom unit at the first floor to 4,700 square foot and 5,200 square foot four-bedroom floor-through units above. A total of five parking spaces were provided. Meyer & Meyer was engaged by Coldwell Banker after the developers were unsuccessful in their bid to list the property.
