this Cape Cod home exemplifies New England shingle style architecture. Specific elements to be incorporated into its renovation and expansion were wrap-around porches on the front side of the house. The project involved a complete rebuilding of the second floor and an addition to the north side of the house that accommodates a new master suite wing and library. The existing cottage’s foundation, chimney, floor framing and window locations were retained and expanded.
