TeaHouse
As an accessory structure to a recently completed private home,
a 500sf Teahouse is tucked away within walking distance from the main house. Oriented towards a small stream with a gentle waterfall, surrounded by gardens and woods, this ‘outdoor room’ provides a meditative environment immersed in the natural surroundings. The structure’s sole purpose is for hosting tea. The multi-slide doors and many windows take full advantage of natural light and views to create a serene, relaxed atmosphere. Wood shakes, slate and copper roof provide a subdued natural palette that blends the teahouse into its idyllic surroundings.
